About Grace
Grace is a graduate of Belmont University’s Marriage and Family Therapy master’s program and is currently under the supervision of Katie Scott, LMFT (#1471). She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
From an early age, Grace was drawn to helping professions, influenced by family members in the funeral home industry and with therapeutic riding programs for youth with disabilities. These experiences played a key role in shaping her identity and values as a clinician.
Grace is particularly interested in working with attachment wounds and exploring how relationships—past and present—impact an individual’s sense of self. She is passionate about helping clients, whether in high school or adulthood, understand how relational dynamics influence their growth, challenges, and healing. She incorporates narrative and person-centered approaches to meet each person where they are, creating space for their unique story to be seen and heard. Grace believes therapy is not one-size-fits-all and is committed to respecting each client’s time by tailoring the process to reflect their specific needs and goals.
Whether navigating life transitions, family dynamics, grief, or relationship challenges, or other personal struggles, Grace aims to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to share their story—perhaps for the very first time.
She works with individuals ages 16 and up, as well as couples at various stages of their relationship journey.
Grace specializes in:
individual & couples therapy
anxiety
attachment wounds
family of origin
grief
peer relationships
self esteem
communication challenges
